Se inauguró el Museo de la Historia del Fútbol Boricua

En una emotiva ceremonia y con la asistencia de un numeroso público quedó oficialmente inaugurado el Museo Nacional de la Historia del Fútbol Puertorriqueño Juan (Saso) Tulier Cruz en las instalaciones del Estadio Manuel Gómez La Norsa el jueves, 20 de octubre.

Con la presencia de Saso Tulier y acompañado del alcalde de San Lorenzo, Joe Román; Eric Labrador, presidente de la FPF; Reinaldo Alvarez, presidente de la Galería de Inmortales del Fútbol Puertorriqueño (GIFP);Jorge Suárez; Mario Enrique Velázquez, cantautor; Pito Ramos y otros jugadores del PRFC; Roberto González y Gilberto Torres, oficiales del Municipio; y la Junta de Directores de la GIFP, se procedió con los actos programados para la tarde.

Saso agradeció la designación y dedicatoria del nombre del Museo a su persona, seguido por una sentida canción dedicada y cantada por el cantautor y su discípulo, Mario Enrique Velázquez. Pito Ramos, junto a algunos de sus compañeros del PRFC, obsequiaron una camiseta a Saso y otra para el Museo. Una vez finalizados los actos, Saso, acompañado por el Alcalde Joe Román y por Eric Labrador y rodeado de sus antiguos discípulos y amigos procedió al tradicional corte de cinta, dejando a la vista de todos el hermoso recinto y sus exposiciones de fotos y memorabilia sobre la historia del fútbol de nuestro país.

La estadía dentro del Museo se extendió con charlas, anécdotas y cuentos entre los presentes, junto a una interminable sesión de tomas de fotografías, mientras en el Complejo Futbolístico se inauguraba la cancha de fútbol con una práctica de jovencitos y un interesante partido. Próximamente se informará sobre el horario de operaciones del Museo Saso Tulier.
